The ZYKFA is honored to be a part of this year's Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra's Percussion Extravaganza that will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, April 18th at Mills Hall (UW-Madison campus - 455 Park St.).
Cost of admission is a FREE WILL DONATION (portion of the proceeds goes to the Red Cross Badger Chapter).
The ZYKFA will be performing in the finale when during a piece called "Through the Fire and Flames" by Dragonforce. We will have two lions and two of our ZYKFA instructors will perform weapon sets (Pu Dao and Double Broadswords) and later a stage battle.with the lions.
There are many other pieces being played and other guests artists as well, I watched a rehearsal and it was fantastic, this should be an awesome show for everyone!
We hope all can make it so we can pack the hall and have a great time. Remember, all donations go to a good cause and great program!
