Lion Dance and Parade around the Capitol for the Childrens Museum Summerpalooza

Leaving ZYKFA at 9:45 am, meet onsite at 10:30 am.

The more the merrier for this one, we'll be parading with the lions, music, flags, and if we have enough people the dragon!, So please sign up for the event ASAP!

The summer season kicks into high gear with our sixth annual SummerPalooza!

• Free museum admission all day
• Free performances outside the museum 10 a.m.-noon
• Community parade around Capitol Square at noon

On the Rotary Stage
10 a.m. Isthmus Jazz Fest Kids’ Stage
11 a.m. Zhong Yi Lion Dance
11:30 a.m. Black Star Drum Line, youth drumline

On Hamilton Street
10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Games, strolling entertainment, and activity tables with local community organizations
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Wild Rumpus “Try-It” Circus

On Capitol Square
12-12:30 p.m. Community parade around Capitol Square, with Forward! Marching Band, the Handphibians, Black Star Drum Line, Zhong Yi Martial Arts, and more.

In the Museum
10 a.m.-4 p.m. Lego Lounge Summer Sculpture Free-Build Zone
2-2:30 p.m. Magic Show with James the Magician
