The school supports it's own traditional Lion & Dragon Dance troupe. The group is available for celebrations year round, but can most often be seen bringing luck during Chinese New Year.

Please keep in mind that our Lion & Dragon Dance Troupe is composed of volunteers and in that capacity our school is available some weeknights and most weekends, in the Madison area, for performances. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to perform weekdays.

ZYKFA Lion & Dragon Sponsorship Program
If you would like to support our troupe in a special way, consider becoming a ZYKFA Lion or Dragon sponsor. There are four sponsorship levels to choose from.
All sponsorship levels include:
- Name of sponsor(s) on Lion or Dragon head (lower back by collar line)
- Eye Opening Ceremony performed at sponsor's preferred location
- Sponsor(s) performs Eye Dotting of Lion and/or Dragon
- Special Lion and/or Dragon Dance performance
- Sponsor(s) becomes "godparent" of Lion or Dragon
- Sponsor(s) receives a ZYKFA sponsorship plaque
- Youth Lion - $388.00
- Teen Lion - $688.00
- Adult Lion - $888.00
- Dragon (glow in the dark) - $2'888.00 *
NOTES:
- Please plan your event to be 4 to 6 weeks after you set up the sponsorship (paid in full).
- Multiple Lion sponsorships are available in a variety of color schemes and themes (contact us for pricing details).
- Dragon sponsorship includes uniforms (total of 20) and additional instruments (specific drum, gong and cymbals) for performers with the sponsors logo and/or name on it.
- Only ONE Dragon sponsorship is available. Once sponsored there will be no more additional adult size Dragons sponsored in the troupe.
- Other items are available for sponsorship too, such as Qilin (麒麟), Pixiu (貔貅), Fu Lu Shou (福祿壽) costumes, etc... call for details.
